Welcome to my Trot for Hunger 5K Fundraising Page

I am participating in SOME’s 20th Trot for Hunger 5K on Thanksgiving Day!

The Trot for Hunger 5K raises essential funds and awareness to combat poverty in the Washington metropolitan area and provides a way for the community to help those experiencing homelessness on Thanksgiving morning. Proceeds from the 5K benefit thousands of homeless families and single adults, including the elderly and people suffering from mental illness, by providing much-needed food, clothing, access to healthcare, employment training, and long-term comprehensive addiction treatment programs.

We all know that there are many adults and children in our community who are hungry and homeless. Unemployment and a lack of affordable housing have led to a significant increase in the number of homeless families.

Please make a gift contribution in my name or register to participate in this year's Trot for Hunger. Our support makes a world of difference in the life of a child or adult in need.
